Most children require a comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment for FASD.

Private practice fees are applicable.  You are entitled to a Medicare rebate for consultations with a paediatrician.  Fees vary depending on the length and complexity of the consultation.

Allied Health assessments for speech and occupational therapy are based on an hourly rate.  Sessions may attract a Medicare rebate through the Enhanced Primary Care program.

Enhanced Primary Care/ Chronic Disease Management

A General Practitioner (GP) may allocate up to five (5) sessions claimable though Medicare per calendar year. However, it is up to the GP’s discretion if a client is eligible to qualify for the EPC/Chronic Disease Management Plan. A form must be completed by the GP and returned to our office so that invoices can be generated with Medicare details.

Better Access/ GP Mental Health Plan

Your GP or psychiatrist/paediatrician can refer you for up to six individual mental health Medicare rebated services with us. This may comprise of focussed psychological strategies by a mental health professional. It is at the clinical discretion of your referring practitioner as to the number of mental health services you will be referred for (to a maximum of six in any one referral, ten in a year).
