Carly holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University. She has been working as an Occupational Therapist for the Ability Centre since 2011. Carly has experience in providing assessments, individualised therapy programs, advocacy and information and training to clients and their families. She has also provided professional development workshops for schools and other health services. Through FASD C.A.R.E., Carly is pleased to offer the ALERT program, a group program aimed at teaching children how to manage their emotions and arousal levels.
Occupational therapists assist individuals with fine motor skills, visual processing, sensory processing and independence skills. Therapy is directed towards individual and family goals targeting personal care, fine motor skills, household tasks and community life.
