Natalie is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has a Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion. Natalie is currently working on the Telethon Kids Institute Research Project assessing the language abilities of sentenced youth as part of a diagnosis for FASD. She has received training in using the Australian diagnostic guidelines for FASD. She previously worked with young offenders at Banksia Hill Detention Centre for 3 years as a youth custodial officer. Natalie has a passion for advocating for the speech and language needs of young people in the juvenile justice system.
